Ms. VahVah's method of re-twisting locs will bud and matures the hair 20x faster than the typical palm rolling method.

• Find out how long your service will take
• To receive price package offers
• Be informed of our business model details
• Get a chance to interview your stylist
• Chance to convey exactly what style you desire

A.  PLEASE NOTE: Cost of consultation goes towards initial service.

• Consultation cost because it a service that is available to everyone that needs expert information on their loc journey.
• Ms. VahVah is a stylist that is at high demand and her time respectfully incurs a charge
• There is only one way to take away time from salon hours and avaiablity which is by paying for the consultation service

A. Sorry, no we don't take walk-ins. Every appointment is scheduled online . All clients are cared for one at a time to respect everyones time and money. It is the best way to give each client our undivided attention.

No.

Locs can definitely be installed with long hair. It is NOT necessary to do the "Big-chop".

Ms.VahVah has a special way of locing ALL types of hair textures and conditions to appears as traditional pal-rolled locs. Hair does not have to be added. Relaxed hair, colored hair, damaged hair,   uneven lengths of hair all can be put into a Sophisticated Starter Loc System.

A. No. Shampooing is a part of the complete service package.

A. There are multiple products options. All are dilute-able and proven to be healthy for your locs.

Permanent* product selection is made after your Follow-Up visit, after initial service. This is to ensure that the product is exactly what your scalp and locs need.

A. No!  Beeswax will cause lint to cling and become embedded into your locs. It will give your locs a very cloudy appearance and it's also very hard to shampoo out. Beeswax melts under the dryer and defeats the purpose training the hair.

Black gel is very high in alcohol and can be too high in protein for some. It may cause severe flaking and irritation to the scalp.

The best type of product to use would be something that is easy to shampoo out of hair, will not weigh down your hair or cause irritation and clogging.

A. Yes, a $25 reservation fee is due at booking (online) of an appointment. This policy is set in place to protect the time and money of clientele and stylist.

A. Ms. VahVah's Loc Spa maintenance cost is based on timing. The prices start at $125. and up ,once a month.

No. Clients are not allowed to bring guest to their appointments because all appointments are private. The waiting area is also  resevered for clientele only*.

A. Tipping is primarily a personal decision. Share what you feel.

However, there are a few traditional guidelines. Some tip based on the same percentage point as when dining i.e. 16% for good service and 20% for excellent service. Or for short services and/or shampoos, some clients offer between $5 and $10. For longer services such as single braiding, weaves, and loc extensions $30-$50 is the average.

All of our packages, auto-pays, and gift certificates are not transferable to other clients, and cannot be combined with other discounted offers. Also, we do not offer cash refunds for our packages, auto-pays, or gift certificates, however we will honor an equal exchange (credit) for other services within our facilities.

Consultation Fee : All sales of in-person or online consultations are final and cost of reservation fee is nonrefundable.  If cancellation of consultation is requested, credit will be given to purchaser for consultation with in 30 days of original booking. Reservation Fee & Deposits: All reservation fees and deposits are nonrefundable. Half (%50) of deposit can be used if the (i)Loc Maintenace (ii)Starter Loc Instatlation (iii)Loc Reconstruction (iiii)Loc Extentions (V)Classes, can be rescheduled within the same week of the original appointment, otherwise deposit will be completely lost. No exception, no explanation or circumstance will result in change of this legally binding policy.

Loc Maintenance: All Loc Maintenace appointments requires a $25 reservation fee. All Reservation fees are nonrefundable. In the case of Loc Maintenace-Full Pay* appointment being cancelled, the remainder of full payment after reservation fee deducted will be available to put towards future Loc Maintenace  if rescheduled for within 14days of original appointment.

Classes: Classes must be paid for in full to attend. In the case where unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending the class that has been paid for in full you will receive 50% towards another  class purchased within 60 days of the original class purchased. Requests for the rescheduling classes can be made by phone/ 704-232-3203, email /msVahVah@gmail.com or on the Contact tab of this website
